So I'm sure that many of you wanted to know why in the world my blog was named "Owl Shook up....."  I initially added an owl template before I published it.  After a little tweaking...hopefully you'll be able to see it.

Hello, everyone! My name is Cressida Cowan. I graduated from UWA in May of 2012. OOOO-WAH!!!!:) I currently reside in Butler, AL and I teach in the Meridian Public School District. I am a mother. My son is 7 years old. This time last year I was crowned Miss Black Globe International. This title allows me to travel around the world promoting my campaign called Sickle Strong. Its purpose is to raise awareness about Sickle Cell Anemia (a chronic pain disorder). So you can say that I was born to teach because teaching is a major part of my life. I educate the world about Sickle Cell Anemia, teach first graders, and I'm a mom. I love teaching! Without technology it would not be possible to touch the lives of so many people. I am excited about what I will learn that will benefit my students.
